I enjoyed the quirky decor-reminded me of being in a magic bazaar! But the room was tiny and a bit too loud at night. Chur, the location was prime though!

Geographical situation , hotel design, staff was friendly.
Bedbugs! TV's not connected! It's only two towels.

The location of the hotel is great (very close to Central station and center).
The rooms are quite old, you can't use the elevator to get to various parts of the hotel (so you need to climb with your baggage). Also the breakfast is really poor (only bread with one slice of cheese), there was no ham or hot dishes (like boiled eggs or bacon).

The musty smell was charming in a way, but it didn't quite match the noise level from outside was nice. The breakfast was a good display of room temperature orange juice and staler croissants, how lovely! One would think as a guest, I would've atleast received comp'd coffee for that experience.

Breakfast is French, so many steep staircases.

It was just a great fit for strolling in Brussels with a great value-to-price ratio. The owner was very helpful and got us a nearby restaurant recommendation that was spot on.

The location is great! If you know that you just want a hotel in the centre of the city to only get some sleep and continue your wanderings around Brussels, then this could be it!
Some mornings I could not get enough warm water after 8 am!

It's the most astonishing interior I've seen so far. Each floor is designed in different manner, all themed to Mozart-times, and Arabic invasion. Some furniture seems to be authentic to at least last century. Hotel owner whom we met very soon seems to be passionate about his property and to know what he's doing. Building interiors are city's sightseeing themselves.

Room for improvement needed!
The bizarre decor didn't mesh well, and the bedding was uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we discovered bed bugs, forcing us to switch rooms. For future guests, check cleanliness thoroughly before unpacking.

The hotel is located right above many grill meat restaurants, you can imagine the smell from it at all time plus in the weekend is pack with people with noise till 7am, The Hotel itself is old, has thin wall and door, you can hear every time when people are going in and out. Hotel staff is extremely unfriendly, we asked for a direction, all he said was, "I don't know, go to get a taxi yourself" Will not recommend to anyone except if you are desperate!!!!!

The location is very good: 100 m from Grand Place
The room I had in this hotel was the most dirty room I have ever seen in any hotel (... and I am travelling a lot for work!!). Big spider webs on the walls, The bathroom made me nearly vomit. The glass (for brushing the teath) for example was clearly not cleaned. It showed large white rests of tooth paste.
